This year, Third Financial literacy Day was celebrated on 14th October 2011 at Kolkata along with the trainers and resource person developed by ISMW and its NAFIL partners for Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion in the state of West Bengal and adjoining states viz. Bihar, Jharkhand, Odhisa, Assam, Manipur and UP.

There were around 200 trainers participated in the Financial Literacy Day celebration. The objective of the trainers meet on Financial Literacy Day was mainly to, Ascertain their post training utilization, document success stories/result/impact of the training and other related interventions in terms of Financial Inclusion and other quantitative and qualitative parameters, understand the constraints encountered in the processes of Financial Inclusion of the poor excluded as also in taking the Financial literacy to the masses.

The event has helped us to collect feedback and suggestions for value additions, customization, innovations in financial literacy training material, methods, tools etc to promote networking of the financial literacy trainers and resources persons among themselves as well as centrally with ISMW, to synchronize future Financial Literacy Programmes of the partner organization with ISMW.
